NDIS Community Access support across Sydney, explore your city, try new things, and build confidence with someone in your corner.

Sometimes the hardest part of trying something new isn't the thing itself. It's getting there. Maybe you'd love to try a new sport, join an art class, or just get out for a coffee, but the planning, the transport, the unfamiliar faces. It adds up.
Our team knows Sydney inside out: the quiet spots, the accessible venues, the disability-friendly events.
If you're into footy, we'll match you with a worker who's into footy. Shared interests make outings feel like spending time with a mate.
Want to try things solo with one-on-one support? Or join a small group activity? We do both.
We keep simple notes on what you've done so when plan review comes around you've got real evidence of what your funding made possible.
Our Community Access support is about taking those barriers down. You tell us what you want to do. We help you do it.

From everyday outings to brand new adventures, our team helps you get out and explore Sydney with confidence.
Community Access is funded under Core Supports in your NDIS plan, usually under 'Assistance with Social and Community Participation' or 'Innovative Community Participation'.

A quick chat about what excites you, a first outing, and a routine that becomes part of your week.
We start with a chat about what you'd love to do. It's your call.
We work out the practical stuff together, when, where, transport, how long. We start small.
Your support worker meets you and you go do the thing. They're there to support, not to take over.
Most people end up with a regular weekly rhythm that becomes a real part of their life.
See below the most commonly asked questions we get at Able to Thrive.
No, your NDIS funding covers the worker's time, not entry fees, food, transport tickets or activity costs. We'll always be upfront about expected costs before we go.
Yes. Our workers can drive you in their own vehicle or in your vehicle. Travel costs are covered under specific NDIS rules.
Our workers are great at helping you build up gradually. No rush, ever.
Yes, that's encouraged.
Our minimum is 3 hours per session across all our supports. The 3-hour minimum lets us provide quality, unhurried support, and matches the way most NDIS providers work.
We require 48 hours notice for cancellations. We're lenient where there's a genuine reason, illness, hospital admission, family emergency. We just ask that you let us know as early as you can. We'll always explain the policy clearly in your Service Agreement before services begin.
Yes, most of our supports can be funded under Core Supports or Capacity Building, depending on the goal of the session. If the focus is day-to-day support it usually sits under Core; if the focus is skill-building it sits under Capacity Building. Contact our team and we'll help work out which funding category fits your situation.
